Centennial Outdoor Living Space with Stamped Concrete, BBQ Island, Firepit & Seat Wall

The Wright Project in Centennial was designed as a complete backyard outdoor living space with a large stamped concrete patio, built-in outdoor kitchen, stone firepit, and curved seat wall. The finished project creates a functional backyard area for grilling, seating, entertaining, and spending time outside with family and friends.

FRSR installed a large stamped concrete patio to create the main outdoor living surface. The decorative concrete finish adds texture, color, and character while providing a durable patio surface built for Colorado weather and everyday use.

A built-in outdoor kitchen was added as one of the main features of the project. The BBQ island includes stone veneer, capstone counters, and a stainless steel grill, giving the homeowner a permanent outdoor cooking area that feels tied into the patio design.

The stonework helps anchor the outdoor kitchen into the backyard instead of making it feel like a separate grill sitting on the patio. The matching stone, caps, and layout create a clean finished look that works with the firepit and seat wall.

A custom stone firepit was built into the patio as a gathering feature. The firepit includes a stone face, capstone top, and lava rock center, creating a comfortable focal point for seating and evening use.

The curved stone seat wall adds structure to the patio and creates extra seating near the firepit. This wall helps define the outdoor living area while keeping the backyard open and easy to move through.

The project also included decorative rock areas, lawn transitions, clean patio edges, and hardscape details that help bring the entire backyard together. These finishing touches make the space easier to maintain while giving it a complete outdoor living feel.
