White Project – Westminster, CO Stamped Concrete Patio & Outdoor Kitchen

A custom Westminster outdoor living project featuring stamped concrete, a built-in grill station, masonry fire pit, permanent seating wall, stone veneer, and a layout designed to make excellent use of a narrow backyard space.

Westminster Outdoor Living Space with Stamped Concrete, Fire Pit and Built-In Grill

The White Project in Westminster shows how a narrow backyard can be transformed into a complete outdoor living space when every part of the design is carefully planned. FRSR combined stamped concrete, custom masonry, a built-in grill station, a fire pit, and permanent seating to create an area that feels comfortable, finished, and highly functional.

Stamped concrete was installed throughout the space to create one continuous surface connecting the home, outdoor kitchen, fire pit area, and rear access gate. The rectangular stone-style pattern and rich earth-tone color give the patio a custom appearance while providing a durable and easy-to-maintain foundation for the entire outdoor living area.

The existing back entrance was incorporated into the new patio with rounded stamped concrete steps. These steps create a smooth transition from the home while matching the color and finish of the surrounding patio.

A built-in outdoor grill station was constructed along one side of the patio. The grill is surrounded by stone-veneer masonry and generous countertop space, giving the homeowners a dedicated cooking area without overwhelming the narrower layout. The stonework adds visual weight and coordinates with the other masonry features throughout the project.

At the opposite end of the patio, FRSR built a circular masonry fire pit with a contrasting cap and lava rock center. A curved seating wall was positioned beside the fire pit to provide permanent seating while helping define the gathering area.

The fire pit, seating wall, and outdoor kitchen use complementary stone veneer and cap materials, creating a consistent design from one end of the yard to the other. This repetition helps the separate cooking and gathering spaces feel like one complete outdoor living environment.

The finished White Project gives the homeowners a comfortable place to cook, entertain, relax around the fire, and enjoy the backyard without wasting valuable space. It is a strong example of how thoughtful design and custom construction can turn even a narrow side yard into a complete extension of the home.
