Broomfield Outdoor Living, Turf and ColoradoScape Installation

The Trace Project in Broomfield was designed as a complete outdoor living and landscape construction project that transformed the front, side, and yard areas into a clean, usable, low-maintenance space. The project combines stamped concrete, a pergola, artificial turf, fencing, decorative rock, mulch, planting beds, and lighting into one finished layout.

FRSR installed a stamped concrete patio to create a durable outdoor surface with a more custom look than standard gray concrete. The patio gives the homeowners a defined gathering area while tying into the home, pergola, fencing, and turf layout.

A custom wood pergola was added to create structure, shade, and a strong visual anchor near the patio. The pergola helps define the outdoor living area and gives the space a more finished, intentional feel from both the yard and street views.

Artificial turf was installed to create a clean, green lawn area without the watering, mowing, patching, or heavy maintenance demands of natural grass. The turf gives the yard a soft usable space while contrasting nicely with the stamped concrete, black rock, mulch, and wood fencing.

The project also included cedar fencing with wire detail to define the property edge and create a clean, custom perimeter. The fence helps frame the outdoor living space while keeping the design open and connected to the surrounding neighborhood.

FRSR finished the landscape with decorative black rock, mulch beds, trees, shrubs, boulders, grasses, and flagstone steppers. These details add texture, color, drainage-friendly surface areas, and long-term structure while keeping the overall design lower maintenance.

Low-voltage landscape lighting was included throughout the project to highlight the patio, turf, walkway, plantings, and perimeter areas after dark.

The finished Trace Project is a strong example of how stamped concrete, pergolas, artificial turf, fencing, decorative rock, mulch, lighting, and ColoradoScape landscaping can work together to create a polished Broomfield outdoor living space.
