Stamped Concrete Patio, Natural Steppers & ColoradoScape Design

The Tadwalt Project in Thornton was designed to create a clean, low-maintenance backyard that still feels natural, functional, and visually complete. A stamped concrete patio with banding provides the main outdoor living surface, offering durability while adding subtle contrast and definition to the space.

Natural steppers were incorporated to guide movement through the yard and connect different areas of the landscape. These elements help soften the hardscape while creating a more organic flow throughout the backyard.

The surrounding landscape was built as a true ColoradoScape design using decorative rock, mulch, and carefully selected plantings to reduce water usage while maintaining year-round visual interest. The result is a Thornton backyard project that combines stamped concrete, natural materials, and water-wise landscaping into a cohesive outdoor environment built for long-term Colorado living.
