Thornton Outdoor Kitchen Built for Cooking, Entertaining & Backyard Use

The Stockton Project in Thornton was designed as a custom backyard outdoor cooking and entertaining space. The project combines a stamped concrete patio with a brick outdoor kitchen, built-in grill, pizza oven, storage, counter space, and surrounding hardscape details.

FRSR installed the stamped concrete patio as the main outdoor living surface. The decorative concrete finish adds color, texture, and character while creating a durable patio area built for Colorado weather and everyday backyard use.

The outdoor kitchen was built with brick veneer, capstone counters, stainless steel storage doors, and a built-in grill area. The layout gives the homeowner a permanent outdoor cooking space that feels connected to the patio and back of the home.

A pizza oven was added as a major feature of the outdoor kitchen. This gives the space more function than a basic grill island and creates a strong focal point for entertaining, cooking, and gathering outside.

The kitchen layout includes multiple work zones, storage access, and counter space so the area can be used comfortably for food prep, grilling, pizza cooking, and serving. The brickwork helps give the project a classic built-in look.

The stamped concrete steps and patio transitions were finished to connect the home, kitchen, and outdoor seating areas together. These details help the project feel like one complete outdoor living space instead of separate pieces.
