Stamped Concrete Patio with Pergola, Firepit, Outdoor Kitchen & Lighting

The Spahn Project in Broomfield was designed to transform the backyard into a welcoming outdoor living space built for entertaining and everyday relaxation. A large stamped concrete patio forms the foundation of the space, offering a durable and visually striking surface that complements the architecture of the home while standing up to Colorado’s changing climate.

A custom pergola was added above the patio to create a defined outdoor living area while providing partial shade and architectural structure to the backyard. Beneath the pergola, a fauxstone firepit with integrated seatwalls creates a natural gathering space for friends and family, adding warmth and comfort to the patio environment.

Adjacent to the seating area, a custom outdoor kitchen built with fauxstone veneer provides a dedicated cooking and entertaining space. Low voltage landscape lighting was installed throughout the patio and landscape areas to highlight key features and extend the usability of the yard into the evening hours.

To complete the project, the surrounding backyard was redesigned with new planting beds, decorative rock, mulch areas, and carefully shaped berms that soften the hardscape and add dimension to the landscape. The finished space combines stamped concrete, outdoor living features, lighting, and landscaping to create a polished backyard environment designed for long-term enjoyment.
