Denver Outdoor Living Project with Stamped Concrete, Pergola, Firepit & Outdoor Kitchen

The Smart Project in Denver was built as a complete landscape construction and outdoor living project designed to give the homeowners a finished backyard with several usable spaces. The project combines patio space, shade, cooking, fire, lawn, and low-maintenance landscape areas into one clean layout.

FRSR installed a large stamped concrete patio with a natural stone-style pattern and dark finish. The patio creates the main outdoor living surface and provides room for seating, grilling, entertaining, and moving between the home, pergola, firepit, and yard.

A custom wood pergola was added over the patio to create shade, structure, and a strong visual focal point. The pergola helps define the outdoor room and gives the backyard a more complete finished look.

The project also included a built-in outdoor kitchen area with stone veneer and a grill station. This gives the patio a practical cooking area while tying into the stonework used throughout the rest of the space.

A round stone firepit and matching seat wall were installed as a separate gathering area. These features create a comfortable spot for evenings outside and add another destination space within the backyard.

The lawn area was finished with fresh sod to keep the yard open and usable. Decorative rock, mulch beds, plantings, edging, and clean bed lines help soften the space while keeping the landscape manageable.

The finished Smart Project is a strong example of how stamped concrete, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, firepits, seat walls, sod, rock, mulch, and complete landscape construction can come together to create a functional Denver backyard outdoor living space.
