Arvada Backyard Landscape with Sod, Rock, Walkway & Clean Side Yard Access

The Ross Project in Arvada was designed to create a clean, usable backyard with new sod, decorative rock, plantings, and a concrete walkway for better access along the side of the home. The finished project gives the homeowner a low-maintenance landscape with a soft green lawn area and clean borders throughout the yard.

FRSR installed a new sod area in the backyard to create a comfortable green space while keeping the layout simple and easy to maintain. The lawn was shaped with clean curves to soften the yard and create a natural transition into the rock and planting areas.

A concrete side yard walkway was added to improve access from the front of the property to the backyard. This gives the homeowner a clean, durable path through a narrow side yard while helping keep rock areas organized and easy to maintain.

Decorative rock was installed around the lawn, along the fence, around the home, and through the side yard to reduce maintenance and improve drainage. The rock areas help frame the sod and give the landscape a clean Colorado-ready finish.

The project also included mulch areas, boulders, trees, shrubs, grasses, and plantings around the backyard to add structure and long-term interest. These details soften the fence line and patio area while helping the yard feel more complete.

FRSR also installed fence details to define the yard and improve the overall function of the space. The fence, concrete walkway, sod, rock, and plantings all work together to create a clean and practical backyard layout.
