Stamped Concrete Patio, Berms, Boulders & Firestone Landscape Design

The Rockwood Project in Firestone was designed as a complete landscape construction project to transform a builder-grade yard into a more finished and usable outdoor space. A stamped concrete patio creates the foundation, providing durability, texture, and a defined area for outdoor living and entertaining.

To add dimension and eliminate the flat feel common in newer neighborhoods, berms and boulders were incorporated into the design. These features—part of the overall hardscape installation—create elevation changes, improve flow, and add natural Colorado character to the yard.

Trees, plants, and sod were added to soften the hardscape and bring balance back into the space. Combined with ColoradoScape landscaping, this approach reduces maintenance while improving long-term curb appeal and usability.

The result is a Firestone backyard that blends stamped concrete, grading, and planting into a cohesive outdoor environment built for long-term Colorado performance.
