Front Yard ColoradoScape Design with Concrete, Boulders, and Water-Wise Plantings

The O’Rowan Project in Cherry Hills Village focused on transforming the front yard into a clean, polished landscape that complements the home while reducing long-term maintenance. Sand finish colored concrete was installed to create a refined walkway surface with a smooth, elegant appearance that fits naturally within the overall design and architecture of the property.

Decorative boulders were incorporated throughout the landscape to introduce natural structure, visual depth, and a more grounded Colorado character. These stone elements help anchor the planting areas while creating stronger transitions between the hardscape and surrounding landscape features.

ColoradoScape plantings were carefully selected to provide seasonal color, texture, and interest while remaining well suited to Colorado’s climate and water conditions. The finished front yard creates a more balanced and intentional appearance while improving curb appeal and reinforcing FRSR’s approach to thoughtful landscape construction and water-wise outdoor design across the Front Range.
