Erie Backyard Built for Outdoor Cooking, Seating and Entertaining

The Moore Project in Erie was designed as a full backyard outdoor living installation that combines stamped concrete, custom stonework, outdoor cooking, lawn space, plantings, decorative rock, and seat walls into one clean finished layout.

FRSR installed a large stamped concrete patio to create a durable outdoor surface with a higher-end finish than standard gray concrete. The stamped texture and coloring help the covered patio and open entertainment areas feel more custom and connected to the home.

A built-in outdoor kitchen was added near the covered patio, giving the homeowners a permanent grilling and outdoor cooking area. The stone surround ties into the rest of the hardscape and helps the BBQ area feel built-in instead of temporary.

Custom seat walls were built into the patio layout to define the space and create additional gathering areas. These walls provide structure, seating, and a more finished outdoor living feel while helping separate the patio from the surrounding lawn and landscape.

The project also includes a central firepit-style focal wall area with matching stonework and wide capstones. This creates a strong destination point in the backyard and gives the patio a more complete entertaining layout.

New sod was installed to create a clean lawn area that balances the hardscape and gives the yard a softer green space. Around the lawn and patio, FRSR added decorative rock, trees, shrubs, boulders, mulch, and planting beds to bring texture and natural Colorado character into the project.

The finished Moore Project is a strong example of how stamped concrete, outdoor kitchens, seat walls, sod, rock, boulders, trees, and landscape construction can come together to create a polished Erie backyard built for everyday use and entertaining.
