Broomfield Stamped Concrete Patio & Backyard Landscape Refresh

The Mojo Project in Broomfield was designed to create a cleaner, more usable backyard with a large stamped concrete patio, improved access around the home, and refreshed landscape areas around mature trees and planting beds.

FRSR installed a large stamped concrete patio to create the main outdoor living surface. The patio gives the homeowners a durable space for seating, grilling, relaxing, and entertaining while adding a more finished look than plain concrete.

The stamped concrete was designed with clean edges, a usable shape, and a pattern that works well with the existing home and backyard setting. The patio also connects naturally to the deck, side yard access, and surrounding landscape areas.

In addition to the patio, the project included concrete walkways and stepper paths to improve flow through the yard. These areas help connect the outdoor spaces while keeping foot traffic off the mulch and rock beds.

Fresh mulch was installed around the trees and planting areas to clean up the landscape and protect the beds. Decorative rock was also used in select areas to create lower-maintenance zones and better transitions around the home.

The existing mature trees were kept as a major part of the design. The new mulch beds and patio layout work around the trees to preserve shade, soften the space, and create a more comfortable backyard setting.

The finished Mojo Project is a strong example of how stamped concrete, walkways, steppers, mulch, decorative rock, and clean landscape bed work can completely refresh a backyard without overcomplicating the design.
