Flagstone Patio, Covered Outdoor Living & Water Feature Design

The Finn Project in Thornton was designed as a complete landscape construction project that blends natural materials, structure, and water features into a cohesive outdoor environment. A natural flagstone patio creates the foundation, bringing warmth, texture, and a timeless look that integrates well with the surrounding landscape.

An A-frame roof cover defines the main gathering space and extends usability by providing shelter and architectural presence. A fauxstone fireplace with seatwalls—part of the overall hardscape installation—adds a strong focal point and creates a comfortable area for relaxing and entertaining.

A koi pond and decorative boulders introduce movement, sound, and natural character, helping soften the space and create a more peaceful atmosphere. Combined with ColoradoScape landscaping, this project delivers a layered and refined Thornton backyard designed for long-term Colorado performance.
