Essel Project · Louisville, Colorado
A Fresh Landscape.
An Established Home.
New backyard sod, colorful planting beds and natural stone borders give this Louisville property a fresh start, with its mature trees still at the heart of the yard.
Fresh Lawn. Better Bed Lines.
Room for the Planting to Grow.
The Essel project refreshed an established Louisville landscape with new sod in the backyard and planting beds around the front-yard tree, foundation and side yard. The existing trees, backyard screening and stone wall give the property its character; the new landscape builds around them.
Dark mulch sets off the shrubs, grasses and smaller plants. Rounded cobble defines the beds against the lawn and sidewalk, while decorative rock creates a separate strip along the house. Those simple, consistent details carry through the property and give each area a finished edge.
In the backyard, fresh sod restores an open green space between the patio and existing wall. Together, the lawn and refreshed beds make the yard more inviting now, with more texture and seasonal interest as the planting settles in.
