Driggs Project – Denver, CO ColoradoScape, Dry Creek Bed, Steppers, Rock, Mulch & Plantings

A front yard ColoradoScape landscape project in Denver, Colorado featuring decorative rock, mulch beds, dry creek bed, boulders, steppers, shrubs, grasses, perennials, and a clean low-maintenance front yard design.

Denver ColoradoScape Front Yard Built for Curb Appeal & Lower Maintenance

The Driggs Project in Denver was designed as a full front yard landscape construction project focused on improving curb appeal, reducing maintenance, and giving the home a clean Colorado-ready landscape.

FRSR transformed the front yard with decorative rock areas, mulch planting beds, boulders, shrubs, grasses, perennials, and clean bed lines. The layout gives the home a much more finished look while removing the rough, unfinished areas that were there before.

A dry creek bed was installed through the front landscape to add movement, texture, and a natural Colorado feel. The larger river rock helps create a strong visual feature while breaking up the lighter decorative rock around the yard.

Concrete-style steppers were added through the front yard to improve access and give the space a clean walkway element without installing a full concrete path. This helps connect the entry area and landscape beds while keeping the design simple and natural.

Mulch beds were used around the plantings to create contrast against the rock and give the shrubs, grasses, and perennials a cleaner presentation. The mix of rock, mulch, boulders, and plants gives the yard more depth than a basic rock-only landscape.

The project also included new plantings placed throughout the yard to add color, texture, and seasonal interest. The finished design gives the property a cleaner front elevation and a much stronger first impression from the street.

The finished Driggs Project is a great example of how ColoradoScape landscaping, dry creek beds, boulders, steppers, rock, mulch, and plantings can work together to create a front yard that looks finished without requiring a traditional high-maintenance lawn.
