Broomfield Backyard Patio and Landscape Construction Project

The Ainsworth Project in Broomfield was designed as a clean, functional backyard upgrade that combines stamped concrete, sod, decorative rock, plantings, and concrete walkways into one finished outdoor space. The project gives the homeowners a usable patio area, a green lawn, and low-maintenance landscape borders that work well with the home and property layout.

FRSR installed a large stamped concrete patio beneath the existing upper deck and stair system. The curved patio edges and natural stone-style stamp pattern help soften the back of the home and create a more custom outdoor living area than a standard square concrete slab.

The stamped concrete patio creates a durable lower-level entertainment space that connects directly to the walkout area of the home. The warm concrete coloring, textured surface, and curved border give the patio a finished look while still being built for everyday use and Colorado weather.

A new sod lawn was installed to create a soft, open green space in the backyard. The lawn area is bordered by decorative river rock and planting beds, giving the yard clean edges and a more polished layout.

FRSR also installed concrete walkways and steps along the side yard to improve access around the home. The curved walkway layout makes the side yard easier to use while tying into the overall landscape design.

Decorative rock, trees, shrubs, and planting beds were added around the perimeter of the yard to reduce maintenance and add structure. These details help soften the wall lines, frame the lawn, and create a more complete Colorado landscape.
