Erie Outdoor Living Project with Fire Pit, Deck, Concrete Patios & Custom Water Feature

The Hughes Project in Erie was designed as a full backyard outdoor living space with multiple areas for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the yard.

FRSR built clean concrete patio areas to create usable outdoor rooms throughout the backyard. These patio spaces connect the home, fire pit area, deck, and landscape zones while keeping the overall layout open and easy to use.

A custom stone fire pit area was added as one of the main gathering spaces. The fire feature creates a comfortable place for seating and evening use, while tying into the surrounding patios and landscape design.

The project also includes a raised wood deck with steps and a privacy screen around the spa area. This adds both function and privacy while creating another defined destination in the backyard.

A custom decorative water feature was incorporated into the landscape to add movement, sound, and a finished focal point near the seating and planting areas.

Concrete steppers, decorative rock, mulch, shrubs, ornamental plantings, and ColoradoScape details were used throughout the yard to create texture, movement, and a lower-maintenance landscape.

The finished Hughes Project brings together concrete flatwork, hardscape, woodwork, fire features, a custom water feature, plantings, and ColoradoScape elements into one complete outdoor living space.
