Lafayette Outdoor Living Space with Pergola, Stamped Concrete & Built-In Grill

The Rapp Project in Lafayette was designed to create a finished backyard entertaining space with a large stamped concrete patio, custom wood pergola, and built-in outdoor kitchen area.

FRSR installed the stamped concrete patio as the main foundation for the outdoor living space. The patio provides a durable, decorative surface with plenty of room for seating, grilling, and everyday backyard use.

A custom wood pergola was added over the patio to help define the space and create a stronger outdoor room feel. The natural wood structure adds warmth, height, and visual interest while making the patio feel more complete.

The built-in grill station was finished with stone veneer, dark countertops, and stainless steel components. This gives the homeowners a dedicated outdoor cooking area that ties directly into the patio and pergola layout.

Decorative rock and clean landscape edges were used around the patio to keep the surrounding areas low-maintenance and finished. The result is a backyard that feels organized, functional, and ready for entertaining.
