Firestone Backyard Outdoor Living Space with Deck, Hot Tub, Patio & Firepit

The Randy Project in Firestone was designed as a complete backyard outdoor living space with multiple usable areas. The project combines a composite deck, hot tub zone, stamped concrete patio, stone firepit, curved seat wall, sod, rock, and planting beds into one clean backyard layout.

FRSR installed a composite deck directly off the back of the home to create a raised outdoor seating and hot tub area. The deck includes black metal railing and steps that connect down to the stamped concrete patio, giving the backyard a clean transition from the house to the lower outdoor living space.

The hot tub was incorporated next to the deck so it feels connected to the home and outdoor living area instead of sitting off by itself. The railing, steps, and deck layout help make the space feel safe, finished, and easy to use.

A stamped concrete patio was added below the deck to create the main outdoor entertaining area. The stamped finish adds texture and character while providing a durable surface for seating, gathering, and everyday use.

The stone firepit and curved seat wall create a strong focal point within the patio. The firepit includes a capstone top and lava rock center, while the seat wall helps define the space and adds extra seating without crowding the patio.

The backyard also includes a new sod area bordered by decorative rock and mulch planting beds. This gives the yard usable green space while keeping the surrounding areas lower maintenance and clean.

Decorative rock, mulch, shrubs, and plantings were used around the home, fence line, patio, and deck to soften the hardscape and bring the finished landscape together. These details help the yard feel complete while keeping the overall maintenance manageable.

The completed Randy Project is a strong example of how composite decking, hot tub areas, stamped concrete patios, firepits, seat walls, sod, rock, and planting beds can work together to create a complete backyard outdoor living space.
