Broomfield Backyard Built for Outdoor Living, Entertaining & Clean Everyday Use

The Song Project in Broomfield was designed as a complete backyard landscape construction project with a strong focus on outdoor living, usable lawn space, and clean access around the home. The finished yard combines stamped concrete, hardscape, sod, river rock, plantings, and a firepit area into one complete backyard layout.

FRSR installed a raised stamped concrete patio and landing directly off the back of the home, creating a larger and more finished transition from the house into the backyard. The wide stamped concrete steps make the space feel open and connected while giving the patio a strong finished look.

A stamped concrete patio and walkway system was added to connect the house, side yard, and firepit area. The stamped finish adds texture and detail while creating a durable surface for outdoor furniture, grilling, and everyday use.

The firepit area became the main gathering space in the backyard. FRSR built a stone firepit with a curved seat wall, capstones, and a stamped concrete patio surface around it, giving the homeowner a comfortable place to relax, entertain, and enjoy the yard.

A new sod area was installed to create a large usable lawn space for the family while keeping the surrounding edges clean with decorative rock and plantings. This layout gives the backyard the benefit of green space without making the entire yard high maintenance.

River rock and decorative rock were used along the house, walkways, planting beds, and lawn edges to create clean borders, improve drainage, and reduce maintenance. The rock areas help frame the lawn and patio while giving the yard a finished Colorado-ready look.

The landscape also included trees, shrubs, grasses, and plantings around the property to soften the hardscape, add structure, and bring long-term interest to the yard. The finished design gives the property a clean, balanced layout with room to grow.

The completed Song Project is a strong example of how stamped concrete patios, steps, firepit areas, seat walls, sod, rock, plantings, and full landscape construction can work together to create a backyard that is functional, attractive, and built for Colorado homes.
