Golden Outdoor Kitchen and Patio Built Around the View

The Conner Project in Golden was designed as a custom outdoor living space with a built-in grill area, stone bar, seat wall, and stamped concrete patio. The project created a dedicated cooking and entertaining area while keeping the surrounding Colorado views as one of the main features of the space.

FRSR built the outdoor kitchen with stone columns, a stone base, capstone countertops, and built-in storage doors. The grill area was positioned to make the patio more functional while giving the homeowner a clean, permanent outdoor cooking setup.

The stonework helps anchor the outdoor kitchen into the patio instead of making it feel like a separate piece of equipment. The columns, cabinet surround, and bar sections give the space a finished look that works with the home and the surrounding landscape.

A curved stone seat wall was added along the patio edge to help define the outdoor living area, create additional seating, and frame the open view beyond the property. This gives the patio more structure while still keeping the space open and comfortable.

The stamped concrete patio provides a durable surface for entertaining, grilling, and everyday use. The concrete finish adds texture and movement while tying into the stone colors and the overall outdoor living design.

The project also included steps, decorative rock areas, and clean transitions between the patio, kitchen, and surrounding yard. These details help the space feel complete and make it easier to use and maintain.
