Brighton Backyard Built for Outdoor Living, Recreation and Low Maintenance

The White Project in Brighton was designed as a full landscape construction project that turned a large backyard into a complete outdoor living space. The finished yard combines stamped concrete, artificial turf, a putting green, seat walls, decorative rock, boulders, trees, lighting, and planting areas into one clean Colorado-ready design.

FRSR installed a large stamped concrete patio with warm coloring, curved edges, steps, and elevated patio areas. The stamped concrete creates a strong entertaining space while giving the yard a more custom and finished look than standard gray concrete.

The project includes artificial turf areas that provide year-round green space without the watering, mowing, patching, or upkeep of natural grass. The turf helps balance the hardscape and gives the backyard a clean, usable lawn area for everyday outdoor living.

A custom synthetic putting green was added to create a dedicated recreation space in the lower yard. The putting green is surrounded by decorative rock, mulch, boulders, trees, and plantings, helping it feel integrated into the landscape instead of placed on its own.

Seat walls were built into the patio and hardscape layout to add function, definition, and extra gathering space. These walls help create separate outdoor zones while giving the project more structure and visual interest.

The surrounding landscape was finished with a ColoradoScape approach using decorative river rock, mulch beds, boulders, trees, shrubs, and ornamental grasses. These details reduce maintenance while adding texture, color, and long-term curb appeal.

Low-voltage landscape lighting was included to highlight key areas, improve safety around steps and walkways, and extend the use of the backyard into the evening.
