Erie Backyard Turf, Patio, Outdoor Kitchen and Landscape Installation

The Ivy Project in Erie was designed as a clean outdoor living and landscape construction project that brings together artificial turf, concrete, planting, decorative rock, and a built-in outdoor kitchen into one finished backyard layout.

FRSR installed a new artificial turf lawn area to give the backyard a clean, green, usable space without the watering, mowing, and maintenance demands of natural grass. The turf creates strong contrast against the concrete patio, rock beds, and surrounding landscape.

The backyard includes a concrete patio and built-in BBQ area with a seat wall, creating a permanent outdoor cooking and entertaining space. This gives the homeowners a more functional backyard for grilling, relaxing, and gathering outside.

Decorative rock, trees, shrubs, grasses, and planting beds were added around the turf and patio to soften the hardscape and give the project a more complete, polished look. The plantings help add texture, color, and long-term structure to the yard.

The front yard was also finished with a clean ColoradoScape approach using river rock, boulders, mulch, trees, shrubs, and planting pockets. This creates curb appeal while keeping the landscape water-wise and easier to maintain.

Low-voltage lighting was included throughout the landscape areas to help highlight the planting beds and improve the look and use of the space after dark.

The finished Ivy Project is a strong example of how artificial turf, concrete patios, outdoor kitchens, decorative rock, boulders, trees, and ColoradoScape landscaping can work together to create a complete Erie outdoor living space.
