Reunion Backyard Turf and Low-Maintenance Landscape Installation

The Motts Project in Reunion was designed as a clean, practical backyard upgrade using artificial turf, decorative rock, boulders, plantings, trees, and natural stone details. The finished space gives the homeowners a usable green lawn area while keeping the yard low-maintenance and built for Colorado conditions.

FRSR installed a new artificial turf lawn area to create a soft, clean, year-round green space without the watering, mowing, patching, and upkeep that comes with natural grass. The turf gives the backyard a finished look and makes the narrow outdoor area feel more usable.

The surrounding landscape was finished with decorative rock, boulders, trees, shrubs, and planting beds to add texture and structure around the turf. These details help soften the space and give the project a more complete ColoradoScape look instead of just a plain turf installation.

Natural flagstone steppers were installed through the side yard to create a clean walkway connection between outdoor areas. The steppers add function, improve access, and bring a more natural finish to the narrow side-yard layout.

Boulders and planting pockets were placed throughout the rock areas to add dimension and break up the hardscape. The result is a simple, clean, low-maintenance backyard that still has movement, color, and curb appeal.
