Fort Collins Pool Deck and Outdoor Living Installation

The Murphy Project in Fort Collins was built as a complete backyard pool and outdoor living space, combining stamped concrete, custom stonework, water features, firepit seating, and landscape detail into one finished outdoor area.

FRSR installed a large stamped concrete pool deck around the pool to create a clean, durable surface for everyday use. The stamped finish gives the pool area a higher-end look than standard gray concrete while still providing the strength needed for Colorado weather and active outdoor living.

The pool was finished with stamped coping to create a clean edge around the water. This detail helps tie the pool into the larger patio layout and gives the entire project a more custom, finished appearance.

A built-in firepit and seat wall area was added as a separate destination space near the pool. The dark stonework, wide capstones, and surrounding stamped concrete create a strong entertaining area where the homeowners can gather, relax, and enjoy the backyard after pool season or into the evening.

The project also included sheerfall water features that add movement, sound, and visual interest to the pool area. These features help turn the pool from a basic backyard installation into a more complete resort-style outdoor living space.

FRSR also completed surrounding landscape work to soften the hardscape and bring the whole backyard together. Plantings, stone, and clean landscape details help balance the stamped concrete, pool, firepit, and water features so the space feels complete instead of unfinished.

The finished Murphy Project is a strong example of how pool decking, stamped concrete, coping, fire features, water features, and landscaping can all work together as one cohesive backyard design.
