Concrete Patios, Artificial Turf & Barefoot Lakes Family Backyard Design

The Wilcox Project in Firestone was designed to transform a newer Barefoot Lakes backyard into a more complete and functional outdoor space for everyday family use. Concrete patios were installed to create durable, low-maintenance living areas with clean lines and plenty of usable square footage for outdoor seating, traffic flow, and backyard enjoyment.

Artificial turf was added to bring in a clean, green play surface that stays usable without the mud, wear, or constant upkeep of natural grass. Decorative rock and plantings were incorporated throughout the yard to add texture, soften the hardscape, and give the project a more finished Colorado look while keeping overall maintenance practical.

One of the standout features of this project is the buried trampoline, which helps the backyard feel more custom and family-centered while keeping sightlines cleaner and the overall layout more intentional. The end result is a Firestone landscape construction project that combines patios, turf, planting, and play into one cohesive backyard built for Barefoot Lakes living and long-term Colorado use.
